Whether you live comfortably or are struggling to make ends meet, most of us don’t want to spend more on tax than we owe. But not all of us can afford to pay a tax adviser. 

We help people like Emma, a self-employed widowed mother, with dyslexia, who upon receiving late filing penalties by post, simply paid them thinking this would resolve her tax liability. As the penalties kept coming in, she became increasingly stressed. She ended up paying £4,700 in penalties when her annual income was only £6,000. We helped her to complete her outstanding tax return, and appeal the penalties, leaving her with a full refund and a better understanding of how to manage her taxes.
